Pre-Ballet I
Ages: 5-6

An early introduction to classical ballet. Includes learning basic ballet hand and foot positions in conjunction with short improvisation and set dances.
Pre-Ballet II
Ages: 6-7

Ballet I/II
Ages: 7 and older, 3 years of experience
Instructors: Lauren Sylvia and Lori Nowak
Class Times: Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30pm (Lauren Sylvia) or Saturdays 11:00 – 12:00pm (Lori Nowak)
This class develops the beginning ballet movement skills with the addition of the basic ballet positions, primary steps and movement combinations. Students will later move to the barre, working with two hands on the barre, facing the barre.
Ballet II/III
Students: For Ballet II and up, all new students must schedule a placement audition.

Class Times: Mondays 5:30 – 6:30 pm, Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Students accelerate in their vocabulary and move on to one hand on the barre during second part of the year. Close attention to the arms and feet positions. Two classes recommended.
Ballet III/IV
Students: All new students must schedule a placement audition.

Class Times: Mondays 4:00 – 5:30 pm (Lori Nowak), Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:30 pm (Kseniya Melyukhina), Wednesdays 4:00 – 5:30 pm (Lori Nowak), and/or Saturday 12:00 – 1:30 pm (Cosmin Marculetiu)
Students will emphasize the practice and understanding of etiquette necessary of a productive dance student. Students will try to achieve 90 degree leg extension with proper body placement and alignment at the barre and in the center. Various pirouettes, small and big jumps will be introduced. Three or more classes recommended.
Ballet IV/V
Students: All new students must schedule a placement audition.

Class includes longer, more complicate combinations of ballet movements at the barre and in the center with an emphasis on clear understanding of musicality. Students will become familiar with different time signatures and learn how to count music accordingly. Students will be encouraged to improve leg extension (above 90 degree) and turn out, placement, and alignment. Various multiple pirouettes will be taught and practiced in combination form. Four or more classes are recommended.
Ballet V/VI

Ballet Variations
Students: By invitation only.
Instructors: Cosmin Marculetiu and Kseniya Melyukhina
Class Times: Level IV/V/VI Thursdays 7:00-8:00pm (Kseniya Melyukhina), and/or Level V/VI Friday 4:30 – 6:30pm (Cosmin Marculetiu)
In this variation class students will learn multiple solo parts from classical ballets. This will help students develop memorization skills, ballet technical skills, and discipline. Students who excel in this class will get the opportunity to use these variations in future performances and/or competitions.
Boys Ballet
Instructor: Cosmin Marculetiu
Class Times: Fridays 3:30-4:30 pm
An early introduction to classical ballet, especially designed for boys. This class focuses on exercises to strengthen and improve coordination, flexibility, musical rhythm and counting, direction and space use. Very basic ballet hand and foot positions are learned in conjunction with short improvisation and set dances. Dance training offers children a unique combination of demanding physical challenges and creative expression. It also promotes self-discipline and spatial awareness, which promotes total mind-body athleticism.
Youth partnering
Students: Class placement required.
Instructor: Cosmin Marculetiu
Class Times: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Students will learn balancing skills, turns, lifts, dance connections, variations and more, all while being held and supported by a male dancer. Partnering class is for Ballet students at higher levels of ballet/pointe training. Class placement is required.
Youth Contemporary
Students: 11 and older with previous dance experience.
Instructor: Doug Kolakowski
Class Times: Beginner/Intermediate: Saturdays 1:30 – 2:30 pm and
Intermediate/Advanced: Saturdays 12:00 – 1:30 pm
Explore movement through leaps, turns, contemporary choices and lyrical movement. Students will start with the most basic contemporary movements and core techniques then work their way into creating their own motions with the use of independent creativity and musicality. Dancers will combine techniques from other styles of dance such as modern, ballet, and jazz paired with more natural and free motions.
